編輯推薦：這是一則極短篇，但卻短小精悍，寫末日災變時的故事，但有別於其它寫世界末日的驚心動魄或是英雄故事，以平淡無華的文筆卻寫孤單和寂寞，故事的結尾人類並沒有滅亡，而是倖存者的重生，挖出了科學家的遺骸，彷彿述說著一種疏離，或許那才是真正的末日。

還存活的人類比以往少了大半，他們忙著重建一切，卻在燈火幽微的夜晚得以重新仰望星空。
